Then it has to be the rakers.  When i went through it after purchase, the AV mounts were in good shape.  I will give it an aggressive filing and leave the depth gauges alone and see if it is any more enjoyable to run.

Right now i am in a four saw plan with all four being too close together.

MS 440 - 70cc
034 (not done yet) - 61 cc
029 super - 56 cc
MS 250 - 49 cc

No really gaps.  I plan to keep the 440 and 034.  I hate to sell the 029super.  it has been a great saw for me and it is a really clean saw, but once the 034 is done and i get a pro 50 cc, i know it will never get used.   I think for me, a three saw plan will be good.  50, 60 & 70, until a steal of a 660 comes along or a 61 or 441CM or...  ;D

Does anyone need me to show how I use tygon fuel line in place of stihl fuel line on stihls? Also allows you to use husky, poulan , echo etc type fuel filters, instead of stihl only filters?

I could do this on this 250 till I find out if new owner wants oem line or not.

Rednecked the fuel line on the 250 so it would never have to use stihl fuel line and filters again.   http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/stihl/stihl-ms250-quick-fuel-line-fix/msg22370/#msg22370

Surprised to see the L and H carb on it too.

RM 325 chain seems slow.   :(  Still  has the bar code on front of the crankcase.

I have a 025 that came with a single needle carb. It actually ran fine on high speed but I didn't like the idea of not being able to adjust the High Speed.

I bought a new twin needle carb for it from the Stihl dealer it was $22 + tax. Ran perfect out of the box.

Saw tested how fine and smooth as can be in the cuts.

Hour or so later someone shows up buys and takes home. Didn't even get to own for 24hrs.  :o
