great little saws,
I muffler modded mine and put an adjustable carb on it, power to weight it was awesome.  I traded it off and with I still miss it, someday I might happen into another one.

Glad it was an easy fix

Adjustable Walbro WT215 isnt it?  Around $30

I'm just not a fan of having to work on the whole stihl homeowner series of saws.  Nice cutting saws and my bro has one he bought new and never had a problem yet.  It's just I took my $50 poulan pro 260 40cc 42cc with stihl PS3 and out cut (timed cuts) my other 025 with stihl 325 RSC in a test session one time for fun.  The PP260 looked better built IMO.

Owner of this one is wanting to trade this one in on a husky 353.  If he does I'm going to redneck set the fuel line up to  run tygon and husky filters or go oem line for resale. Depends on who is wanting it.

I'm not particularly fond of this series either.  But, I had a little 021 I traded off that was pretty wicked for what it was.  Did a MM on it and it came alive.  Kinda wish I'd kept it, NAH I got a Wild Thing.

the 021-025/250 is a good solid little saw. power's not bad, extremly relaible but they are a cinder block. i'd call it a brick, but it's way heavier. :)

we use them for ground saws on the tree crew, they are durable and pretty cheap to buy and work on if you have a problem. and used parts are everywhere.

The local power company had Asplundh do the trees around my area this summer.

In the bucket trucks they used 211's that fit in a scabbard on the inside of the bucket and a hydraulic pole saw that fit in a bracket clamp on the arm of the lift.

The big ground saws were 372 X-Torq's.

And The climbers had 201T's

From what I could put together, there were some bigger saws available if needed?

I would rather they destroy a 300 dollar saw, than something like a 261.

Guess what the bad plug was and the bad plug he tried to replace with that he had used for back ups.  Same plug manufacture I quit using when I had like new plugs go bad. NGK
