It should be?

If not - you can put it in there?

Edit:  It is in post number 12

That's fair enough. It is a shame they won't make some small pro saws. A 261 is a little to big to use as every day climbing saw.

That MS250 in the pic in this thread, IF I take in on trade will be sold as soon as I get it.  Hint Hint.  I'll price it just like the last one that lasted a day after I priced it for $150. I'm gong to replace the fuel line if I get it. Depending who wants it could do my redneck fuel line so new owner never has to use stihl line and filters again.
It looks like new and just used by a firewood cutter for trimming and the smaller stuff. He has 72cc for his normal cutting.

The above MS250 stihl came in today with 18" and 2 extra chains and bar cover.  He brought a 12 pak so we could hammer out all the details. When he left he went home with my rebuilt husky 353 16" and 1 extra chain and bar cover.

The 250 will need a new fuel line, but temp fixed for now. This saw will be for sale.

I personally don't like my 250.   Its a damn rattle trap, I may have my rakers too aggressive and that is the problem??  But they are set at .025 using my Oregon depth gauge.  I just do not find anything enjoyable about running it.  I have an 029 that I really like, so it isn't just the clam shell design that bugs me.

Honestly, someone offered me $150 for it and it would be gone without hesitation.  Heck it would probably be gone for less than that on the right day.

I really want a 50 cc pro saw.   Adkstihl tells me to go for a 346... but I have not run a 261 or 346.  Without running either, I know I would buy the 26 series stihl.   Bar interchange would be one compelling factor.

I have both a 026 PRO that has been ported and a 346XP new edition that is stock.

The 346 will run circles around the 026 - But, in the woods, I'd just as soon run the 026. It is a wonderful chainsaw. I run a 3/8 X 16 and it seems the perfect balance and weight.

I have had 025 and run this 250 several times in the past. Both were smooth in the cuts, light handling. AV seemed fine too.

So if yours is a rattle trap, have you tried a different chain? Ran a 3/8 chain on anothers saw the other day and it would rattle you in the cuts.

It has the .325 chain on it.   It is the only 16" bar i have and it is the chain that came with it when i purchased it second hand.
