I still have a hard time believing it's coming back, but than again Husky did it with the 372. Stock they run well and feel really light in the hands, I prefer the 372 but I'd be just as happy with a 440.
The story is a bit different, as Husky never actually stopped making the 372xp - they just stopped marketing it in the US for a year or two.  :)

That's the way it has been explained to me not just by Stihl people, but by various power equipment people.

They're retailing for 940$ with a 25" bar.
The ones I'm ordering are 25" ES Bars and 33RSC chain.
Most guys around here will only jump to a 70cc saw in order to run a 25" bar
Guys around here run 20" bars on 60cc saws.

Ran into a snag ordering the 046 muffler, it hits the chain brake lever, but it'll get a trim and it will clear it.
Ive got it tuned rich 12.8-13k since it has 5 times more exhaust area now as opposed the stock muffler.
It's got a 7 tooth sprocket, 20" ES bar on it and Windsor 50APL chain, my favorite firewood cutting setup.

Imo 20" is a bit much on the lighter 60cc saws - balance issue, not really a power issue.
