No pics, but heard spring av and flippy caps. Said they gained a little weight but not sure how much. A couple people said they're being tested. Some in the pnw, one in minnesota that I remember right now.

Not for a year or two before it's released, same with the 461 is still a year or so away.

Everything we've been told, and heard regarding these saws is 2013-2014.
And since saws get release in Europe 4-6 months before they are available here, a Winter/Spring 2012 release is unlikely.

I just hope they get the power back up in the new saw , the last of the new 660's sure at much to write home about . The earlier 066 sure will kick the new 660's butt

Found out that fact myself .

Couple years ago I took my buds earlier model 066 to Bill Poors GTG .Beautiful well preserved 066 that ran like dream .

Well some rascal stole it and several other of his saws .The replacement 660 has no azz at all in comparsion .Darn shame what the EPA did to a fine model of saw . :(

Al to tell you the truth I grab the 460 over the 660 just about everytime right now , both saws are just a couple months old , I find the new 660 just has to scream to get anything done with it and the 460 sure is alot lighter to carry , both saws are stock

When my little bud who is a trimmer replaced the stolen saws he got a 441,460 and that 660 .I tend to agree the 460 is the best of the lot .

About the middle of Sept  we got into the largest ash trees I've ever seen in my life .He was on one end with a 660 and a 36. Myself  on the other with a souped 038 Mag and a 32 with skip .I could hang right with that 660 .That was on 62" of green ash 30 feet long  with almost no taper in it ,fat old thing solid as a rock .

Funny thing is he called me to bring my big saws namely 2100 Huskey,125Mac and 2100 Homelite and nary a flippen one would start . ::) Chit  happens .

I'm certain they could be improved but at 12-1300 a pop for a bread and butter saw not that many trimmers have enough money to do that stuff .
