Chainsaw Repair

Had a guy ask me a question and I havent had the new updated stihl 880 in my hands.  I was telling him about using the 084 088 or MS880 piston in the stihl 084. 
He ask if that included the new updated  MS880 built after 2009 with piston part number 1124 030 2002 and bolt on muffler with muffler cover etc. The older MS880 before 2009 used 1124 030 2007 piston.

Anyone know if they are the same piston with updated part number only?

Is there now a muffler to replace the "cast" aluminum muffler ?? I hope not........... I just ordered a cast one (over $227), from the dealer 

Just thought about it...... probably wouldn't work with the old style cylinder that uses the spring & wedges to secure it on.
