Bought this fuel line and impulse line off eBay--Fuel line is useless--closes up completely.
I should have known better.

Sure it's the right line for right saw?  Can you show the OEM and the AFM side by side.

Yes they look identical but apparently China made this one thinner and it pinches closed. Impulse hose fits good.
Very stupid design to have a rubber hose bending close to 90% but, apparently the original worked.
I will just go to dealer and buy original--that's what Stihl intended for me to do in the first place.

I ask folks if they want OEM line or my redneck tygon line way.   Rednecked way has worked on 025 034 etc so far.

Small spring pushed into or outside of tubing works well to prevent kinks on tight bend radius

stihl 084 oem oiler hose uses that spring deal.  Not the part inside tank. The line running from pump to outlet.

Look in this kit 11240071010 at the spring used in stihl 034 036 064 084 oil line.

Kev, just Re-did the line on an 084.  Used tygon. Worked fine but had to machine a tapered "keeper" at the bar pad to hold the tygon

I was scared to try that. I put oem back in that 084 you worked on for Adam on pipe.  Need to use a hair dryer or heat gun on oem lines. PITA.
