Lead Free Gas Station list.  Many of these are marine or water craft related.

As a general rule aviation gas keeps better in storage than automotive gasoline. However, some airports will not sell you aviation fuel in your 5 gallon can.

Not only is it about (at least) a dollar more a gallon, the marinas up here that I have spoken to around Lorain and Vermilion have short seasons.  A Shell gas station on RT. 60 has a pump out back for people to bring their boats through on the trailer, before they get to the boat launch.  They said at the end of October they will be switching the pump over to Kerosene for the winter season.
I will be getting what I expect to use for the winter and put Stabil in it.
