Cutting base gaskets
« on: January 16, 2014, 01:26:56 pm »
660, you probably already know about these from your RC hobby. However I just noticed and purchased one.

Been cutting a bunch of gaskets lately for a saw modification project, needed a better/faster way!

They work great for cutting out center holes in gasket material for cylinder base gaskets, also purchased the swivel knife for the more intricate cuts for pulse channels.

I don't have the compass cutter but those A-11 blades are the cat's meow for cutting gaskets. I have about four of those knives shown.

660, what year were you born? The reason I ask is 'cat's meow' was one of my fathers favorite expressions, he was born in 26. That one and whatever 'like Jack the Bear', or 'colder than a well diggers azz in January'!

Well it was more like the cat's azz because if it's your cat he wants to lead with his tail up high.

When I was growing up the well digger lived in MT.

The bear goes in the woods and then there's the brass monkey etc. '44.
