There are a lot of other bicycle repair stands out there.
Park Tool is considered one of the best (local company - great story), but catalogs like Performance Bicycle and Bike Nashbar carry other brands.

These also show up on CraigsList pretty frequently.

I dont recall ever seeing that muffler front on a 026 here.  Reminds me of some of the newer ones.

That front was the original one here I think. Front exhaust came later. We still stock them.

I got a wilton power arm junior and an OEM Stihl clamping plate as a stihl template. I was trying to get it modified to accept all the other bar stud sizes and spacings from other brands as well as all the tensioning assemblies without having to remove them.
Also the machinist was going to make it  a single piece to bolt on to the Wilton.
cutting with a cnc to accomadate all the variations left too little metal to support really cranking on a heavy saw with a cheater bar, etc.
I am just going to use it myself with a spacer to make it a little longer without any of the additional milling.
Dave
cost me a little less than 300 and I like it better than the totally stihl version at more than twice that
seeking new in box 046, standard or arctic model
