If you want to go down the bar clamp route, purchasing a bicycle work/repair stand will get you the same set up for a lot less money, than the stens etc. posted, you can get floor or workmate  mounted versions

How much? Where do you get it at?

I thought of that too. I'm not going the clamp route anyways. I dont like that idea.

 I'm going with bar stud route if I ever put one together and held in place with nuts for a secure piece of mind.

I don't use a vise very often but on occasion if needed I just clamp down on the dog .

E-bay panavise you can buy the ball mount to except 5/8 round stock and make you own mounts have two, work great, and or a model #350 vise set up works for holding barrels when porting and most small power heads. pictures to come when i find my cable. Al

Picked this up on the weekend. It looks pretty good and solidly constructed.

I think it will come in very handy for my 260 rebuild
