Baileys....what the ??
« on: February 06, 2014, 07:03:08 am »
Not saying 'dont buy' but then again....you can do what you want.

My last three orders for small items, totalling maybe $650 or so, have been showing as 'In Stock' when I click the 'checkout' button thing. At this point I usually start making excuses to the 'the one that must be obeyed'...
After three days and no 'shipping notification', I get nervous and wonder if I turned off notiifcations.

Items are just sittiing in que with no status update available. Each time it is a sale item and maybe has a shipping discount to further assist the excuses I give to her. Send email, wait two or three days, send another... Each of the last three orders are the same....."Back Ordered"!!
If I wanted to be part of a group purchase(sale with no stock is typically done like this), I would be prepared to wait a month, but not for items 'In Stock'!!!

I have requested a message from the owner as to why I should continue trying to be a customer.
I have requested a refund.

Let's see what kind of customer service I receive.....

I do not do business with Bailey's anymore because their shipping charges got outrageous! When I did however I never had a problem with them.

I've had my hands smacked on a  site for speaking bad about baileys. They told me to not bite the hands that feed them. Because baileys is a sponsor of their site.   I had to back off but think it is total BS that you cant speak bad about sponsors if they are screwing up to warn others.. But understand their in it for the money at FF.

Guess what, I  dont let any sponsors here or except members donations.  SO SPEAK YOUR PIECE ON THIS if you have bad experiences with online sellers.  My hands are not tied by anyone.  ;) ;D

Had orders get lost, take a week to show up.  Never had orders go through sometimes.  Screwed up discounts and never got it right. ETC ETC.

I quit shopping there last year or year before.  Starting even having troubles with my smaller orders.  Talked to customer service and still no help. I gave up and canceled last order.

Yeah shipping charges are out of control there. If you call in and order you can tell them you want USPS priority and they'll do it. I do that with Madsens as it's 2-3 day from out west instead of 6.

I quit using Baileys as well because of their shipping charges and things being on backorder all the time.  Their service was going downhill before they downsized.

I now use northwoodsaw and weedeaterman.

Update:

Seems the reply email went unanswered for 6hours, so I resent the same email four times in a row.  Three hours later.....I get an answer, better(or worse) yet I get a run-around.  Instead of refunding the monies as I requested, they want to send me things I don't want(think if I wanted something else, I would have ordered it that way)?

I asked for an email from the owner....something simple like why I should continue trying to be a customer.  That didn't come across the cyberspace line.

Resent my request for the return of my funds.  Twice(just increase they don't like answering the first one).
Also informed them this was the last request to get my funds back.
I paid through PayPal(I'll file a depute/complaint if I need to go that route).

Pretty much figure I'll be completely done with them from this point on....

BTW....thank you for having this site for us "Cut4Fun"!!!

The FF place banned me for speaking my mind once......didn't realize what had happened until two days later when I tried to log back in(no message saying anything?)!  Guess that kind of thing happens in a lot of places though, I don't know that for sure....but human nature and greed sometimes has a way of making for weird bed partners?

I understand having 'sponsoring companies' to reduce the overall cost of running something, but when they allow the 'sponsor' to control what is said.....whew, I'll rein it back in and stop before a pop a blood vessel!

Thanks!  Enough said!!
