Yup, when my Grandpa ran those old Dolmars he would just file down the studs. I machine out the bar to fit but either way works fine.

Make sure of oiler holes lining up.   

Just in case they dont line up.  Dont forget to redrill oiler holes if needed or at least grind channels if needed to existing holes.
