I may have a cheap source for that PP295 drum.  Will get back to you after if I see if it pans out.

Just got a PP375 in the mail today....................................and dammit it has a spur drive drum.  Why the heck did Poulan put spur drive drums on 'Professional' saws?  This makes two that've come to me with spurs (my 4000 and now this PP375).  Got a rim drive drum on the way for the 4000.................but it looks like I now once again need an Oregon 28187.

The IPL's show rim drive drums.  I've gotten 3400's with rim-drive drums (should have kept the one that was on the 3400 I sold on feebay).  Just can't understand why they'd put a spur on a 'pro' saw... ???

I have more OEM 4200/5200 3/8 spur drums than you can shake a stick at, if it helps.

Hiya Rob,

Glad to see you over here.  I'm trying to stick with rim-drive on these saws if possible.

I'm not familiar with what those part #'s fit.

I'm guessing the 1/4" setup is intended for something like an XXV series saw.

When the 3400's came out, I'm not sure there was any such critter as a rim drive.

If your still looking I think I got what you need.  I bought one off of diggers dad that was too big for my 3.3.  I will check it out tonight.  I bought one off cougar99 from a 365, man will i be ticked if that don't fit the 3.3.  I could use a .325 x 8 rim to swap if ya got one to spare.
