stihl FS45 carb part
« on: February 18, 2012, 04:48:35 pm »
Would like to find a junk scraped stihl 45 trimmer with a carb or primer bulb plate from carb for a friends trimmer.  If not I will be ordering new for him. Just trying to save him some bucks.

If it is part 29 in the IPL you can get that part from just about any Stihl from FS38 thru 130. BG blowers, hl, sh, ht units as well. Should be an easy find.

There is a guy checking his carb pile right now for me for just the plastic part that primer bulb mounts to. Will let you know Art.

The valve inside it went bad somehow. I rednecked it for now removed valve and took brass plug out, have it running good, but primer bulb not working right still.
Wish they would have never used those blasted things to begin with.

The carb was S97

660 this carb is a little more through stihl. I can get a new one to my door step for $32 though.  Just trying to save the guy money on a $149 trimmer.
