I have only known of 2 and I think one is still here in Ohio and other in Wash.   It has been on my wish list since 08 or so.  But dont need one now.

I think I have info on them with pics etc in the stihl usg thread here.

Good Luck

I've given a lot of thought to square grinding.

My point is; that if you convert your Stihl USG or a Silvey 500 round grinder to do square grinding, then the grinder is essentially a dedicated square grinder.
For the trouble it takes to convert one from a round to square or square to round and get all the angles set, you would quickly want two grinders . . . A round grinder and your original round grinder converted to a square grinder? BTW, the Stihl USG is a very nice grinder.

In my case, I have a old original Silvey Swing Arm grinder that I do my square grinding with. It was a derelict old thing that hadn't been used in 30 years that I refurbished. The Swing arm types (Silvey & Simington) are simple devices that will last you a lifetime. Except for the main frame and arm castings, the other parts are hardware store items.

Many times what we use is a matter of opportunity in what we come across?

Then I stumbled upon a old Oregon 511A with a worn out vice and I put a new Tecomec vice on it.

Each of my grinders are set up for the type and size chains I use at all times.

You could probably by a new Simington for what it would cost.

I think it is in this thread. Not sure.  http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/chain/square-grinders/msg50396/#new
