So this was in pretty bad shape and the metal very thin.   I can see why it **** if not careful.

Amazing. That cover was a mess in the beginning.

By the way I was on the phone for a couple hours the other day shooting the chit.
 I was telling IMO the best production chainsaw hotsaw builder in the United States about what you can do with magnesium.   He sounded very impressed over the phone.

Yes the clutch cover was pretty bad and tried my patients a couple of times.   I welded it from the back side also and left a little extra weld there to help it from cracking again.   The magnesium was very thin.

Hey Roger, did you weld up that clutch cover from the 268/72 that had a bow bar on it yet?

No not yet.   I need to remove the brake from it first and have not got around to it.   It is on the list.
