Chunk of Southern Red Oak....he wanted this one just slabbed at 7/4 and as wide as it would go.





This one was my 'practice log'.....wife has a scroll saw, and wanted some really wide pine at 2/4 thickness.  That way after I run it through a planer, 1/4 to 3/8 finished thickness.
