Your gamble

Need to test fit 325 8T on the PP365 and 357xp.  Know it will work with 7T.

Going to go in a split round 3 325 chain build off into its on thread. New guys joining in are getting confused with the stuff combined.

copy and past same rules we used in PS PS3 chain build off.

Things that will separate race from work chain IMO.

Race

Thinned cutters
Stoned cutters
Thinned or reshaped small rakers
Tunneling under cutter
Cut off back of cutters heels etc or angled back of cutter
Grinding or polishing work on rivets
Dog boning
Work on top of inner drive link area ( dont know if most of you do or know about this )
Beveled edges

Im sure there is more if we need to ad to list ;).  If you can add to list please do.

Just want the work chain to be work chain for the guys doing work.

Isn't it easier to just say what is allowed for the work class? Like sharpened, gauges set, and any bumper removal. Maybe you did that and I missed it the first round.

Trust me when I say. If you dont put it in clear written out rules and conveyed. Folks will look for the loop hole and go that route.

Look at how the chainsaw builds go. ;)  First thing I do is think of what they say that you couldnt do and you can do and start thinking what will still fit inside the rules they laid out. Folks start thinking outside the box and that is a good thing.

Just like SF race IMO was outside of the box for the norm and ch74 work chain round filed work chain was way different then anything I have ever seen.
