Out of frustration of not getting my sons car started. I did something I knew wtheck I was doing.

Pulled the clutch pit a 325 8T on the PP365 and put the 66DL dl chain and bar  on it.

Will check the 357 later when everything comes together.

But lets call it in stone.  66DL 325 050 for rd 3.

I ordered my 2 stihl 23RS 66DL off ebay some seller makes loops to order from bulk.

Going to get Carlton K1L through Nate here on the site at http://performanceoutdoorequipment.com/collections/chainsaw-bars-and-chains/products/carlton-k1l-325-050-66dl

Getting the Oregon 20LPX from Frawleys saw shop aka   Loggerchain  http://www.loggerchain.com/20LPX-Oregon-chain-325-050_c21.htm

@concretegrazer     Is that 26RS in your pic? 

Just make sure to do 23RS or whatever other brand for the build off.

I have my loop of 66DL .050 .325 23 RS chain. It came last Wednesday.

They made fun of that "weird odd ball" chain at the Stihl dealer.

All .325 Stihl saws are .063 so that they will not fit 3/8" pitch bars.

Videos @Sierrawoodsman  felt smooth and fast here a quick little video:
also had best looking chips




Here's an Oregon 325" LPX Sharpened Square.
used same grinder settings.
As expected ths was the smoothest of the three




final test for today was with a 20" bar Carlton .325"
square ground near end of life with low rakers.lot of vibration
Next I want to try a Stihl RS-Square and see how she does.

After getting the estimate on my boys car today. I will be stopping at 3 stock loops and 3 filed loops.

I will be doing stihl RS, oregon 33LG and 20LPX

If anyone wants to see a stock loop of Carlton K1L tested please send it in to be run.
