Hello guys, haven't been around for a while.  Been busy getting  ready to host the 2016 Northern Manitoba Trappers Festival Logger Sports.
I have some loops of 33LG packed away in some bins. ...I never throw a reusable loop of chain away.
Stock chain the N.K. .325 like the 95VPX will surprise the 20LPX users.
Oregon claims their new 95TXL cuts even faster. Looks like a nice little semi chisel chain.
Making a living with a saw since age 16.

Now you made me go look stuff up. ;)

Oregon 95VPX    G-Series Saw Chain
95VPX chain is part of a Micro-Lite™ narrow-kerf cutting system that requires less power from the saw to cut than standard cutting systems and meets the ANSI low-kickback standard.  https://www.oregonproducts.com/pro/products/chain/95VPX.htm

Oregon 95TXL Work faster, sharper, easier, with a more efficient chain. Ideal for arborists and property owners who want top performance. 95TXL is for saws up to 55 cc. (Replaces 95VPX.) SpeedCut™ 95TXL narrow kerf cutting systems are more efficient, needing less power from the saw than standard cutting systems. Low-vibration, Micro Chisel cutters have small-radius working corners for excellent performance and easy maintenance. Get a faster, easier cut with a reshaped cutting surface. A sharper, more durable cutting edge from a new precision grind and optimized cutting angle. Always use SpeedCut narrow kerf chain in combination with SpeedCut or Micro-Lite bars.  https://www.oregonproducts.com/pro/products/chain/95TXL.htm

So lets hammer out a date for chains to be received by?

I am thinking Mid Late March to maybe April to run all the chains. When I can get a warmer day to spend running the chains. Like last 2 round were.

I also have a 325 9T rim coming. I just want to see if the 362xp will still be a 66DL chain with a 9T.

That will be a run time frame for sure.

What kind of receive chains by date?  Lets pick something.   Lets say middle of March and  19th is a Sat. Is this good for folks that's in?

Late March or beginning of April sounds good. Gives an opportunity for some warmer shop time for those who are getting hammered with the cold.

You got it.    ;)

Myself included, I dont want to have to run the torpedo to file 3 chains.

Then I like it little warmer to run the saws all day 1 day. 40 degrees is real good for that.  Mainly for the taken on off chains over and over. Hate working with frozen fingers and cant stand gloves to work in for small stuff.

March 19 good for a due date for chains?

I still haven't grabbed any 325 loops yet. Trying to tool up the lathe. Got a mandrel made for the 54mm saws, working on making a mandrel for the 56mm stuff now.

Going to order a quick change tool holder, then see when I can grab a couple of loops.

Probably going to just grab RS and file.

End of March deadline would be great, still saving for the quick change ......
