I dropped my chain in the mail today, mostly because I knew that if I didn't, I would put it to work on the cherry tree at the corner of my place.  Then I would have to touch it up again, and then I would use it again, and then I would miss the buildoff.  So I took it away from myself....

Chain arrived today. Nice info too.

Also Thank You for including the pre-stamped padded envelope to return ship with.
Makes it a little easier in the end when taking them to P.O. for tracking etc.

The last place ribbon reminded me...  Did my chain make it there ok?

Posted it here and the other thread when arrived. ;)

Well alright I finished off my race chain today.   I have it mounted on a Poulan 335 that I modified.   The wind is blowing like crazy today so I am going to wait for it to be a bit better outside to try it out.   Tried out some new stuff on this chain that I did not do on the last one.   We will see how it goes.

What kind of wood do you use for testing out there? Pine of some type?

I think I have one piece of pine left here that I can test in.   I just want to see how it feels in the wood so that I can adjust the rakers if I need to.

His cants appear to be white pine.
