That was fun to be a part of.  My buddies at work checked in a couple of times to see if the results were in.  I was feeling pretty good until I looked a little closer at the stock chain results.  Stock RS put everybody but Cut4fun on the trailer in work chain.  So mine was only a little slower than stock.....

@dbittle

Roger has your 2 fastest avg cuts faster then mine. ;)   Mike showed me faster.  I really thought in feel during the cuts yours was fastest work chain in the cuts.

I will time off my computer later. I bet you get the work badge.  8)

Roger do you have pics of your chain? I can try, but I get terrible pics.

Rogers has alot of what I was used to seeing on my race chains back in the day.

concretegrazer chain looked over the top in WOW factor.  I'll PM you in a bit.

Nope. I was thinking about stoning but didn't have a clue as to what I was doing or how to do it and couldn't find much on any site covering it. The only thing I did do is clip the tail, but I didn't see anybody do that either from the race chain pics I've been seeing

I do not have any pics of the chain.   I can take some when you send it back.   I will have to use my wife's camera, the I have and use will not do a
close up.

I thought concretegrazer's chain looked pretty awesome also.

What I did to my chain.
I clipped the back of the cutter.
I tunneled the back of the cutter a little bit.
I thinned the outside edge of the top plate of the cutter.
I did a square grind on a Simington grinder.
I thinned the rivet heads.
I ground down the top edge of all the links of the chain at an angle to make go through the kerf better.
I cleaned up all the gullets and the links.
I did take a stone and used it a little not much on the top and side of the cutter.
I never used a file on any of it.
The rakers I shortened and thinned the inside edge only.
I also dropped the rakers a little.   I only eye balled them.
