When installing 72 -75 LP/LG cutters on a 76LG chassis you can reuse the 76 presets with no problems.
Remove the 76 cutters on your chain breaker with the punch exactly dead center on the rivet. Alternate back and forth on both rivets pressing half ways to avoid bending both the preset side link and rivet.
When spinning the full size cutter onto the 76 preset use the smallest anvils (.250) on your spinner. Makes a nice clean smaller round rivet head that doesn't need reducing.
You'll need a 7/32" or smaller 1/4" socket and small hammer to get the cutters onto the presets.
Making a living with a saw since age 16.
