I'd be interesting to know if that MS241 with the PS63 setup is running a 6 T spur sprocket or a 7 T rim.
The 6 T would definitely have the torque advantage in that log up against the 7T .325
Making a living with a saw since age 16.

Here's a good demo video from Stihl Canada from last winter of the Stihl MS241 C-M with Picco 63 PS combo.
They seem to be doing a good job promoting their product.

Mike have you square filed any 63PS 63PS3 to run against the round filed to see how much you gained in cut times yet?

No Sir,

And won't be doing it either.
I'm not a hand filer and don't have a square grinder.
If I can get one of my buddies with a square grinder to grind some, I would be happy to provide the chain for, and do the comparison.

I have taken the PS3 and timed a cut then cleaned the gullets and square filed..
I think I knocked 28% off the time IIRC...
I may have to dig up some video.

That was a 16" bar w/60dl's.
Elm was the wood...
If that saw had more power, the difference would have been greater...
It was filed for a ported 261.. >3.5hp
Chain was hungry... I did not touch the rakers...

How can this chain be used on a husky 51/55?  Regular 3/8 sprocket and hard nose or roller tip bar?
