What PS is it you haven't tested yet? 63PS?

I havent tested 63PS

I have only tested 63PS3 back in 2011.  All right there in the OP 2011 and videos just posted from 2011.

I don't see straight PS on the list. All they show is the PS3 with the side by side double rakers

I am confused do you have 63PS or not? If you don't it can be arranged..

It will not perform better than VXL if both is out of the box.

 ??? ??? ??? ???  How many times do I have to say I have PS and PS3   ?   ;)

LPX I wouldnt have thought PS or PS3 would be faster.  But cool for confirming my thoughts.

I haven't tested the Stihl PS3 yet.

You should have the newest out PS non-safety. I never tested the PS yet either. Only the older PS3 I got in 2011.
Yes typo mistake on my part, I have the 63PS without the extra safety links not the 63PS3. Honest mistake since I'm 1500 miles from home.
I'm not concerned about the Oregon 91 VXL chain to compare it too, I'm going to test it for cutting speed against my 95 VPX .325  that I'm running on my 338XPT.
The Oregon 95VPX semi chisel narrow kerf has excellent chip clearance and flow rating for a small chain ,but the chisel 63PS extended pitch 3/8" with the chisel working corner should put out quicker cutting speeds on the little Husky top handle.
Only a stop watch timing the difference in cutting speeds can make this test worthy. I always test my sawchains in clean knotless spruce 10"x10" cants. If there is a difference in .5 to 1 sec or slightly more in cuts between the 2 chains, that is major difference when the saw in a work day will make hundreds if not thousands of cuts. Add those cuts up and there is a major difference.
Only difference that may be negative against the 63PS chisel is cutting edge sharpness holding capability compared to the semi chisel 91VXL. But seeing the intended market for the 63Ps is directed for use with the MS201T which is a aerial saw used in clean cutting conditions , dulling shouldn't be an issue.
Making a living with a saw since age 16.

I'm glad to see you understand how to test chains out the right way. Being a racer yourself that only makes since.    ;) ;D  8)

There can be many limbs cuts, that is right, but here logging is apparently a lot different from what you are used to as limbs are not that big.
These chains are not doing much cutting in bigger stuff here. They are used for clearing, thinning and occasional aroborist.
Fell, limb, cut top, repete. In rare occasions there might be two cuts.
Not very hard on the saw compared to a firewood creator were there is lo limbing, just cuts and cuts......
I have not seen a pro use 3/8 hobby here for years...
They all run 325 on smaller saws, 3/8 on bigger.

The use of a saw this size here makes it not so suited for chisel chain as it makes the job harder and slower.
