Rim Sprockets
« on: November 16, 2013, 03:55:37 pm »
Do the Oregon rim sprockets not interchange with the Stihl sprocket drums? Bought new rims for the 026pro and 034. Neither fit. The Oregon rims are little too big for the drum. Oregon 11892 026pro and 18720 034.

Correct, The Stihl small rim is smaller than the Oregon small rim. The large hub rims are the same.

I buy my Stihl small rims from the Stihl dealer. The others come from many places.

I buy whatever is the cheapest. All my Stihls are for personal use. If I repairing for someone else Id probably buy the Stihl part for them.
