Holy cow Kevin, that's nice! A buddy of mine who worked at the paper mill bought a 1970 or so GTO Judge brand new back in the day.
I had a few fast Chevs, Fords but I liked the Poncho engines the best, lots of torque.

I had a chance once to buy a 65 GTO 389 Tri power convertible in 1978. Really nice shape but I thought $3000 was too much back then lol.
I paid $4000 for my 1970 1/2 Firebird in 1975 but the car was built up pretty good especially with the Vern Moat engine and m22 rock crusher and extra gear for the track.

Had a guy in '76 who wanted to trade his 1970 Barracuda 440-6 pak 4 spd, orange with white interior for my 'bird if I threw in a extra $2K.
That car was in mint shape but he couldn't get the carbs set right. So I chickened out of the deal.....now you and me both know what that car would be worth today, right? :o
Making a living with a saw since age 16.
