Liked even though I never win anything.   :'(   Thanks for passing this onto us here.  8)

Just happy to be with decent health and life over winning anything I guess  8).  Winning just isnt in my cards on drawings.  :P

I take that back.......  I did win something once  on a drawing at a GTG.  Miracle Wedge.  Didnt fill right being it was donated by Art to this site for the drawing. I told the person to draw another ticket as I couldnt feel right about winning it.

Any speculation on what this will cost?

Just updating this thread, due to traffic in some of the other cordless saw threads.  The PS250 has been available for a few months now, so you should be able to find comments and reviews from other users floating around the Internet.

List pricing seems to be around $250 for the bare tool (if you already have other tools in the 'family': chainsaw, string trimmer, hedge trimmer, etc.).  With the largest battery (4.0 Ah) and charger, the list price seems to be around $450.

Through September 1, 2014 Oregon will throw in a free, extra 1.25 Ah battery with the purchase of some of these tools as a promotion.  I like the larger capacity batteries (2.4 and 4.0 Ah), but it's nice to have at least one extra battery to get you through something when your main one runs out, or while it is charging.  And for 'free' . . .

My friend used Oregon PS250-A6 pole saw with 4.0 Ah Battery. He uses it to trim dead limbs on oak trees, with limbs up to 6-8 inch in diameter. A lot more power than you would think with a battery operated pole saw. That was written soon after getting saw in February 2017. Now it is January 2018, and the battery is shot. Not good…

The batteries have a warranty; he should see if it is covered.  There is a bit of 'magic' in these batteries; I know that heat will hurt them, and charging any frozen Li-Ion battery is a no-no. They have a life, But sometimes, cells 'go bad'.  Oregon has pretty good customer service - he should at least contact them. Prices have come down if he has to buy a replacement.

I have some of these batteries going back 6+ years, with a couple of dozen charges on each one.

I don't have 30 minutes to fully watch that video on my cell phone.   I have both the Oregon dedicated 40 V pole saw, and the multi-attachment version.  They both work. However, I prefer the dedicated tool.  The multi-attachment system can be a good choice for occasional use, and to save some money, if you use several of the attachments. Thanks
