Another owner ask about his 3900 coil wire being cut in half and soldered back. Now wont start.

I have repaired a coil wire that cant be removed before by splicing back together and wrapping in electrical tape and worked.

You think the solder may be messing his up or could just be a bad coil.

I've seen 2 others. 1 bad coil.  I'll go check and see if the same ones or not.

See none listed right now.

It's listed in the Akron section farm and garden, search under "chain saws"

Heck I cant sell my good runner for $100 local.  So I just use it.

Echo just dont sell local.  Only 1 guy using them I take care of.

Put 325 7T 16" on the 3900.   As I  wanted lightest saw to drop a dead 14" ash (emerald ash borer got it) and then limb it with.

Local text me (I know him) he is looking for a cheap small saw on a 100 budget. Told him got some cheaper and one right at that budget. Plus many more higher if he wanted to trade in bang bangs. ;)
Echo 3900 I been using around the house with 12" 3/8LP for myself for 7-8 years.
But now it is set up with what it came with .325 for him. So will see if he follows through and picks it up.

Amazing how well it cleaned up. I used that WD40 spray on spray off once and then 2nd time spray on brushed and spray off. I'm talking it was pig in the mud dirty.
