Nice score Bob!
  I have a 750, there a hand full!
You'll be impressed with yours once you get it running!
FYI, The intake boot seems to be the weak link on the 750.

I've only ever seen one of that model in running condition and it owned by Larry S. in Ohio .That one has a tuned pipe on it .

Back in the day these were the hot set up for a race saw .I believe this is the last of the large displacment professional saws Homelite ever built .Their demise I'm sure had a lot to do with changing methods of old growth harvest on the west coast and varied ownership of the company.

During that time period there was kind of a changing of the guard .Mac and Homelite through bad management and other factors became lesser players in the pro saw arena and Stihl and Husqvarna moved in .Also during those days Honda and Toyota gained market shares and Ford  GM ,American Motors and Chrysler took a more backwards seat .It's just how things seem to evolve  over time .
