oil leak Z3300
« on: June 14, 2017, 08:00:31 am »
Hi,
I have a Homelite Z3300. It has a terrible oil leak which appears to be coming form the oil intake tube, just under the muffler. Is that a common problem?  I looked to replace it but it appears that that part is no longer available. It looks like you need to pry it out.  Not sure if its repairable.  The bar oil just leaks past the part that goes into the oil tank. nothing comes out of the oil tube which lubes the chain.  I appreciate any help.

These guys appear to have it.

Homelite Oil Intake #HM-UP04048
Our Price: $6.12
Sale Price: $5.10

Failing that, you could always get a grommet the right size for the hole in the tank and use a piece of rubber fuel line.

I have one new UP-04048 oil intake tube left, $1.79 plus shipping. If you want a spare later let me know.
