Jeff, I tried to kill the 5100 Ed ported for me. That was one tough saw. Used it one winter cutting veneer logs. Sugar maple up to 24 inches. I would boil the gas in that thing and it would never quit. Had it 1/2 turn into the limiter. Still runs as far as I know.

I like my 5100 and its inboard clutch..I'm not setting speed records but I can work all day non stop, so in the long run I do more.
If I was better in the video department I've got a gnarly twisted knotted 24 inch'ish hard maple in the backyard that I would take a spin at this weekend.

I couldn't stand the 5100 in spruce, no limbing speed. In hardwood it was a winner however.

Personally, I find inboard clutches counterproductive to what a 50cc saw really is meant for.... ;D
