Clutch on my husqvarna 357xp is striking the clutch cover and starting to wear through.

Wondering if my clutch is bad but saw runs fine

Maybe the clutch drum center is wore and starting to wobble back forth. If talking about the outer circle hitting clutch cover?

Might be a good time for a new clutch bearing and drum etc. If that is the play you find.

Yep I agree with Cut4fun.    It could be the clutch bearing.       Grab the outer drum and see if it has a lot of wobble.

I was saying check clutch drum for wear and replace clutch bearing while in there.
