Well if I had taken it apart myself it would be a no brainer but, it came to me in pieces and since I have never had one of these apart before I thought I would try and save myself some frustration.

That husky trimmer was like that in parts.  It is rough to figure out for sure when we never seen one before or taken apart before.

Ok I went in to work a couple of hours this morning and got the brake put together and on the saw.
The coil of the spring fits up into the handle of the brake and the curved end fits up against the pin.
Put the handle on and your done.  It was simple once I saw one.
Thanks for the help guys.

Most things Husqvarna are that way. And it is done the same way across many models, do one and you can do them all.

The first Dolmar 7900 I did I could not get the coil spring for the brake in no matter what I tried. Finally bought the factory essentially a modified cheap set of channel locks that cost $75. Still could not get the spring in, it would hump in the middle when trying to get it in place. Then I discovered that there was a removable half round piece of metal in the spring channel which when removed was the key. You put the spring in the metal channel then compress it with the tool, viola spring in on the first try. The 7900 WM said nothing of this.
