Chainsaw Repair

The story I got from the rep yesterday sounded WAY to similar to that of the 555/562 and 540T arrival situation.  None available to order, no ETA and he had just been notified of the saw coming to the system last week.      Please not again.

Imo, the weigh of the 4500 looks fine at 9.6 lbs - but only 2.7 hp is well on the low side for a professional 44cc saw....

Art this post made me think of what you  are interested in. Least I think anyways. 

   In my opinion based on using both, 550xp as well as 543xp, i say that they share pretty much nothing, and yet they feel pretty darn nice, both of em. The 543 is clearly more compact and such, the space between fronnt handle and the throttle is shorter and in some ways...more aggressive , i think 543 has better ergo´s for fast removal of branches.

With 13" bar and filled tanks, its back weighted, but with 16" or so, its much more balanced, when the chain & bar are .325" / 1.3mm....with 15-16" bar length and 1.5mm chain its at its best i think. But in my case, 13" bar is enough for the tasks that i work around.

MSRP is going to be $499 with a 16" bar and chain.

Product codes are in the system, but units can't really be ordered yet. I get a message about it being a 2014 SKU and my "order" just sort of disappeared.

There are some samples on the way and I might have one in about 2 weeks. I've been told that these things are coming out of the box set at 16,000 rpm.
