We are more repair and learning related over here.  More of a mature type crowd just wanting to learn without wadding through 100 pages of BS to find the 1 post with info.  Hope you enjoy and can share what you know with us too.

AMEN! And let's keep it that way. This site is by far tops for useful info, and frankly the guys on this site as a group have a lot more knowledge to share.

But about these 235's................I'm one of those dealers who won't sell them. When running OK, they may be handy small saws to use, as Cat Face says. But he's lucky that he has a couple that are somewhat reliable, because the percentage isn't too good. These saws are very fussy to keep running correct. Lot's of carb issues, particularly boggy acceleration and constant stalling. I know another dealer who insists on selling them to have a saw at that price point. But he's always complaining that they frequently come back not running right. Not good for him or his customers IMO.

The old 34/41 series of saws weren't all that bad, but the change to strato engines on these cheap saws really hasn't come off too well as far as I'm concerned.

Cut For Fun and Spike60

gents,

This site is great for knowledge.
When I ask my questions I get honest answers.
That is what I appreciate the most.

I do not have that much knowledge to add, but I have no fear of asking questions.
I do think I need to search more, instead of just outright asking.

Before you know it, you'll be answering questions too as a result of your searches, questions, and accumulated knowledge?
We should share what we know... someone may learn...
That knowledge can live after us... and that "Pays It Forward".
Be all that you can be . . .
