Probably and K&N stack air filter set up would be my guess. Was done alot on west coast saws
I saw a picture of this setup on a 670W in one of my old Chainsaw Age magazines in a ad. Top cover was chrome I believe, will dig it out and post it in the next day or so.

Also is the air-cleaner different? I keep hearing about a different top? Bigger air-cleaner. Probably after-market- I am thinking? Thanks! ??? ???

That is correct. The west coast a.k.a full wrap handle is used so the operator can easily cut from both sides of a large tree without standing in front of it. Hazardous to the health. :D WorkSafe B.C. mandates any saw used professionally must have one if bar length exceeds 24".

Thanks! So what is the difference between 670w & a regular 670? Handles?
