I had a NOS 137 also that I bought quite a while back but used it on my last 3750 that I worked on.   The carb I took off was a 164 and should be ok also.

Sucks cause the carb was the deal sealer on the lot of 3450 parts.  Thought i was picking up a 164 cheap.  There will be another if I can beat ya'll to it.  ;D

Yeah I've been watching that 137.  Some of these guys are putting stupid prices on parts.  There's the one mook that's been listing Poulan 4000/PP375-395 starter pulleys for between $40-$70.  Come on guy....

Then there's the guys listing the big CounterVibe AV buffers for $30-ish, and the XXV series oiler diaphragms and S25-CVA top AV mounts for close to $30.

And then there's the joker with the whipped 245A listed for $600...

I bought an NOS HDA137 for about $30 shipped around a year and a half ago.  Couldn't get the 164 on my PP330 to behave.  The 137 did the trick....

I still see the 164's on eBay once in awhile, and there is that crazy price on the 137 that has been on there for about the last 8 months.

Yep.  The older saws in this series had the 49.  The 3450/3750/330/380 had the 137 and 164.

Never ever heard of a 49 on that series OEM, unless put on by seller or rebuilder. 3450 330  3750 380 had the 164 137 like you said.

Bought some nice 3450 parts inc carb.  Well turned out carb is a HDA 49 not a 164 or 137 which I expected.  Contacted seller says he bought saw new never had carb serviced.  Anybody ever saw a 49 from the factory.  Sounds like BS to me.  Checked Mowers4u.com they are out of stock.  I guess they are gone knew i should have bought a couple while they were available.  Procrastination strikes again.
