Someone contacted me yesterday asking if this might be my old saw he has on the bench.

Helsel built one I sold at end of the 2010 race season.

Has everything I recall still. Just different starter handle.

She aint kept clean as she once was.

But know what you mean about the handle angles.
I know mine I could balance with my middle finger and she was square hanging. He did a great job on the balancing with pipe and handle.

That yellow tape was perfect balance point.

Trying something. Handle looks ok in video.  No cut area like that pics seems to show.

Still I tried to grab from video.

Yeah dont know whats going on with handle.  Looking at pic closer, it maybe just something got on pic right there.

Figured out how to move video from FB to HD to utube.

Here is over wood video  I was talking about

I didn't mean it wasn't cliff's build, just the handle looks odd. I heard about it for sale just before my first time going to Chardon.

I cant figure the handle out either, if something is cut there or what.

Cliff confirmed it is one of his saws already.  Early one built for a Canadian.

I have a over the wood video of it down south but dont know how to post it here.  Showed it to Cliff.
Before being sold to guy that just bought it.

Here is Dan running it before he passed and getting my azz whooped.  I started my saw on idle as it was first time I raced it that day.  Difference was 1st and 5th place runs. Looks like 10 miles.

Thinking it was 10x10 yellow poplar  Murray KY

Is the handle bar broke? Doesn't look like one of cliff's set back style

Just saving pics of a Helsel built saw that was sold to a Canadian and then later sold to Dan Duncan R.I.P. from KY.   After Dan set for 6 years or so and has had the carb fiddled with and needs some work.

Dan had piped chromed right before passing.

Think the saw had then went to MO and now sold again.  ;)   Talked with Cliff and put new owner in touch with him to maybe get saw straightened back out.
