Jason did a video.
But the thumb screws for the kits isnt in yet. So no thumb screw shown that goes through filter top.
OEM thumb screw wont work.
It's is so easy to install from what he showed.
Fits under stock cover.

Then Joe did a clone 361 G366 mm muffler modded. Stock and then gasket delete.
200-300 dollar saw. I owned one. Ran just like my oem with mm.

Trusted dyno Joe to make sure his dyno is calibrated.
3 stock ones run. Then 1 ported.
Looks like he threw a 576 in there too.

Another porter doing new 564. Intake side of cylinder off with low spot.

Have you guys been following some of the running issues with the husqvarna 564's. This guy was showing a main issue. The intake side of cylinder is not flat. They are using sealer to try and seal them at factory it appears.
Still leaking.
Least now a idea where to start looking.
Then the flashing he is showing inside the case that will flake off into saw over time.

Guy in my group bought one. 20 cuts and never started again.
Took back to dealer and he said it has updated firmware. Still dont start.
Wants a refund. Said he is done with husky newer stuff.

Also air filter fix already.
Dealer said o-ring at top. If that works just a heavy high tem grease should work too.
Then another guy wraps oem filter as shown. Prefilter uni.

I bought 3 of them, Terry saw is running good , he is on the site so he can tell you guys more but I believe the 564 is about 30% or abit more faster than his 562 mark11, as far as mine , mine was way to lean to even run out of the box , it would not start period , so I dumped abit of mixed gas down the intake and it fired but it would just die once that fuel was burnt so took it in bush , found a good top and you had to be fast as once it fired after putting fuel threw the intake and it fired to get it up on rpms , I made about 100 cookies with stopping after about 50 cookies to put more fuel in saw but never shut it off , at least it would idle now but it still would not start cold and it was not as lean as when I started cutting , Yesterday I cut all day with it and after lunch it would start and this morning it started like normal without touching the primer , I donot have a stock 562 but the 564 is making pretty good torque , Is it as fast as a stock 372 when running a 20 inch bar in hardwood , it should be close , it's lighter than the 562, better feeling in the wood than the 562 , We will see how it runs next week if it stops raining but for what I see it's a better and nicer saw to run than the 562 . Same as the 562 but I would like to see abit more bar oil coming out , 22 inch bar setup is about its limit for me , I cut enough white oak and cut lots with the back of the bar so bar oil is important to me . Now the 564 seems pretty good and fairly strong and I like the sound of the motor , it's getting enough fuel I believe I can make some pretty good power out of it , I have 2 of the 564 xpgs ordered when ever they show up
It has started the last bunch of morning fine , saw makes good power and fair bit more torque than a stock 562 , I cut mainly white oak with it today and it cut it good so that for me is the bench mark as that mainly is the hardest trees to cut here cause saw has to be able to cut fast enough not to have small splits on the stump and remember I'm always in some kind of wind pushing trees over , You bore cut these trees and snip the back

I have not ran mine yet as have been cutting walnut which is a nasty dirty wood but guy here ran the 564 against his 562 mark11 with high compression piston in it and the 564 was 30% plus faster

Oh he did note uses more mix then the 562 mkII too.

One of the mods in husky group from BC was just running a 564 562 mkII together.
His pic. 564 only 3/4 tank so far he said.
He said the 562 has square grind and the 564 new C83 and the 564 was still easily out cutting in 30" hemlock with 28" bar.

Dyno results for the 564XP! Stock run in Blue at 5.4hp, stock w/muffler mod in black at 6.2hp, and ported in red at 7.4hp!
You can see I really moved that power and torque past 11,000 RPM's! Gotta say I like this one! Videos to come

Husqvarna 564 dyno run stock.
Brand new all stock Husqvarna 564XP on the Dyno for base line runs. Making exactly the advertised HP numbers. 3 run average was 5.37HP. Next step is muffler mod and see how it performs!

Anybody honestly run one of these saws in logging conditions in bigger hardwood ? Yes I know its small and I have lots of 500i's , 372's but most of this winter my 500i's just sit in the saw box in my truck , I have been cutting with my ported 562 mark 11 and if this 564 is better then that's the way to go , but we do not see a 564 for maybe another 6 or 8 weeks up here in Canada , I ordered 3 564 xpg on jan 1st cause dealer said I could get them but then said husky told him now have to wait like 3 or 4 months

The guy with both the 564 400NE from Italy.
Him = First impressions: (subjective, so wait for more reliable data, such as cutting times) the 564 seems to have a "more rounded" engine: where the 400.1 stalls (it bites too hard), the 564 shows no apparent signs of slowing down. This doesn't mean it's vastly more powerful: the fuel injection simply creates a machine that "seizes" less in the wood.
Power seems to favor the 564.
The 400.1 is half a kilo lighter. (well, weight is a subjective factor)
Balance: 564 with 18-inch forged bar: well balanced, but with very little weight on the handle (rear).
The 20-inch bar is probably ideal.

I tried to create a video that was as faithfully correct as possible: however, perhaps the test would have been more precise with a single bar and chain for both chainsaws.
Unfortunately, I didn't have time to find a universal bar and chain for both chainsaws).
So take it for what it is: a test video but without claiming to show the absolute truth.

If the 564xp is overloaded while cutting, the electronic injection and control unit struggle to manage the situation (they recover very slowly, even when detaching from the cut). This does not happen with the 400.1

But I dont see it replacing the 572 too, like I keep hearing from people. Just 562 class. Not by the way she pulls down in the bigger cuts.

Emission numbers of some saws I seen posted. =
Appears that the 564 XP uses clean air ports to “stratify” the scavenging mixture, just like in “strato” chainsaws with carburetors. According to data from the EPA, HC+NOₓ (or CO) emissions are comparable to those of “strato” saws equipped with carbs and better than those of the 500i.
