It is a thin ring.It is actually a craftsman 3.7. I'm not real computer literate , so I haven't learned how to post a photo. I should learn.

Never ever measure that area on these.
Pic of it? So it is thin ring piston right? 3800 is thick and matters for which cylinder they can go in.
3700 p I sold to a guy. No none left just in a runner.

I used a screw in piston stop to remove the clutch and it left a divot in the center of the crown. Anyone know how thick the crown is and whether the piston can handle it? I used to stuff a starter rope thru the spark plug hole , but I'm thinking a stihl locking strip might be a better idea. What do you all use?
