Post by: Cut4fun on July 22, 2012, 11:35:43 am
Someone trying to trade down for a smaller saw with me. What is the actual PHO weight of the 064?

This isnt helping.  http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.nsf/ed1d619968136da688256af40002b8f7/05de8d8ea06209c988256dee005d9510?OpenDocument

If somebody could use it and it hasn't had the snot ran out of it that's not a bad price .

I still have the owners manual for my 1st 064 I bought in 1986. It says 14.1 lbs
The 064 pictured on this thread is a newer model from looking at the coarse toothed gas cap and airfilter knob, the 1986 model has a much finer toothed cap.

I don't know where the factories get their weight ratings from. My 372 Husky is supposed to be 13.4 lbs pho but my digital scale says 14.2. That's even after I removed one of the dual dogs off the sprocket cover.

Kevin, that was PHO. But to be honest, that is with a BB kit. I doubt it matters more than an ounce or so.

Holmen, I have weighed several 372's; they all weigh about 3oz north of 14lbs with a clutch cover and dogs (standard).

It was a early balieys gen #? top end. Ran great stock. I think I pulled a 10 or 11 with it in 8x8 goofing off and it just kept getting faster from 7T-8-9-10-11.

I dont know if he had it there or not.    I just looked at 6ci gtg times and it wasnt listed as run there.

He didn't race it. It was in the grass for sale i think, no top cover. Said it was a 064bb.

Damn if I would have known that I might have been able to con him out of it .

Now wait a bit .Ole Fred had the hots for my souped 038 Mag after it about pulled his fingers out of joint trying to start it .Now just maybe if he lands one and I work it over for him that might sweeten the pot . ;D

Where you at Fred ? I'll bet with a little massaging that BB 064 would boogie .

Fred ran a 066 in timed cuts. He had like 3-4 066 with him too.
