Title: gutter attachment on leaf blower
Post by: Cut4fun . on October 22, 2012, 06:42:13 pm
Anyone got any experience with gutter attachments used on the leaf blowers. I have already cleaned mine by hand twice and just thinking there has to be a easier way.

Maybe this is the answer and reaches uo 12 feet.    http://www.husqvarna.com/us/accessories/product-accessories/blower-accessories/gutter-kit/

I'm not familiar with the Husqvarna version but I have the kit for the BG series Stihl blowers .They are around 35 bucks through a dealer which is about what you'd pay via flea bay once to figure shipping .

Those work like a charm .Blows leaves and water every where including right down on top of you .It certainly beats the option of crawling up on the danged roof to clean the gutters .

I figured the down side would be wearing all the mess out of the gutters.    :D ;D

Thanks for letting me know it's worth it though. Will be getting one for the husky real soon.   8)

Well for what it's worth I can do the whole house in about 10-15 minutes tops .Then I take the nozzle off of  it and blow the mess out into the yard and grind it up with the mower .After first putting on dry clothes of course .You about need a rain suit .

Say I'm off about the whole month of Nov on vacation .One of those days it's conveniant I'll load up the Stihl blower with the snorkel and run it over with the Poulan piston and you can try it  to see if you like it .

Now that is the cats  behind.  I was able to get 4 out of my 5 gutters today. The back one I always had to use my 24' ext ladder to get to by hand. I'm thinking of buying some more straight tubes to try this way from the ground.

Yep like you said Al, I was wearing the water spray and leaves  ;D, but that was a small price to pay for the ease of doing it this way.   8)

Oh you aren't going to believe this .So I bought the Stihl gutter kit ,blew out the rain gutters once put the whole thing back in the box (I thought )

Today I get out the big back pack and blew some leaves .Aha get the BG-85 and do the gutters .Couldn't find the frwakin goose neck .Get out the ladder ,up on the roof .Put the blower away and found the danged goose neck .I think I'd forget my head sometimes if it weren't attached .
