Title: Stihl Service Manual Question

Can I use the 0xx service manuals for the msxxx series? Or is the tear down and specs different? I got most of the 0xx service manuals on paper but I have nothing on the msxxx series.

You are just going to need to compare your 260 with what you see shown for the 026.  In these two the difference is in the tank vent and the flippy caps for the tanks.

After you've completely worked on two or three chainsaws, you will probably not look at the manuals any more? Even on different brands . . .
