Do you want the wood chips back that might make it hard to read text for some or leave the plain back ground now ?
Vote once yes or no.
Yes for wood chips back.
No for the way the site looks now.
-
I want the wood chips back. Too much white in the background.
-
It just seems so basic without the chips to me. Trying something.
I had a pic of the chip alittle further away, making them smaller. I then put them on my pic software and tried to lighten them up by using brightness and contrast.
Let me know if you guys still have troubles seeing text?
-
I dont have any troubles seeing text.
-
There are several that do though and they need to see the text.
I think what I just did will work. Just waiting on feedback in pm's etc from them.

If for some reason you have to back to the white background. The forums title bars that have that light blue colors needs to be darker for the white background.
-
i like the way you got it today. i have been having trouble reading before.

By the way I never have used a light blue setting.

I talking about the backgrounds around titles on the index page. Like Stihl, Homelite, etc.

The color around the the orange the text. It blends in too much with that white background you up the other day.

That dont even matter. You click on the orange words anyways not the light blue surrounding area or the white filler. Non-issue.

Sorry, been away for a while. I have real problems reading the blue text over the wood chips. Probably a function of my laptop monitor (though it's not a cheapy). But if it works for others, I'll live with it. BTW... is the poll closed now?
-
No chips, Thanks 4 asking!
-
Sorry chips are staying.
Trying a dark blue today. The lite bright blue was little harder to read I think.
-
What's up now is more readable than what I recall from earlier today. The worst part is where the chips are more of a gray tone (over the "Unnotify" button)

Thanks for trying I'll keep using my tried and trusted point and click and see what happens next method the self highlighting bar is brilliant eg my messages highlights when the mouse crosses over it could you possibly use more of that technique even just up the top left where I click for new posts can see lots of the white letters but the rest of the words blend into the background unfortunately for me that happens with many colours so I have no complaints
I learnt of my problem at 16 when I failed a medical for an electicians apprenticeship cheers
