anyone ever see homelite chainsaws super 2 i think with metal grinding wheels on them i have two of them contact me if interested i was told they were used by the railroad came from Ohio they make a stihl saw with similar attachments that sell for 1200 my saws are missing parts but the grinders look fairly complete thanks Tom

Seen a couple pictures of those rail grinders. I think they were on the CSCF site.

I'd about thing a super 2 would make a lousey rail grinder ,they are only about 2 cubic inchs .Now they did make some XL-12 variations such as a portable circular saw .
Now this is not saying they might not have used the engine out of either one for a number of things just like they did McCulloch engines for bomb hoists for the navy and a number of specialty items .
