4-5 yrs. ago might have been 5-6 yrs when Husky 55's were bringing $300+ and parts 55 $135 or so on Ebay I bought a 55 with a custom wood saw box that is a work of art. $375.00 Saw looked new not a scratch on it. Came with 2 sets of chaps (Stihl Promark) 1 winter set, 1 summer set, Husky hemet system, 3 Stihl RS 3/8 72dl chains, soft brush for cleaning saw, 1 sm wire brush for brushing crud off chains, 1 flat file for dressing bar. I actually bought it for the box was going to flip everything else. We did cut wood with it for about and hr. when I first got it. It's been in the box since. Wound up keeping all of it. Decided to move saw & box to other end of shop where all the runners are. Took it out of box, stopped by WB to record SN. SN is 99 37016350 Since it was a 99 I said I wonder if this is a closed port 55, pulled cyl. cover to take a peek to see. YES ;D ;D ;D I've got a pristine closed port 55. Even dreamed about closed port 55's last night LOL.

The dating surely fits with the 45mm (51cc) closed port ones.
