Title: Mac 10-10 manual oiler....
Post by: mrcaptainbob on April 18, 2011, 12:34:07 am
How do I get the manual oiler rod/shaft out? It appears the knob handle is broken and that the rod is also not connected. Do I need to disassemble the whole saw to get at this? Is there a better way? Other than that the saw runs fine.

There should be a little roll pin holding the button in .I think they are all the same but I'll look in a little bit to see .

I looked at several 10 series out in the shed .It's as I said a tiny little roll pin .

The easiest way is to either use a very thin punch or cut the point off a finish nail and tap the pin out the bottom .Then it's just a matter of pulling the button rod and all out .
