Title: Winter projects
Post by: Old Iron Logging on October 30, 2013, 11:33:13 am
Over the winter I am going to work on 2 project saws. 1 is a 152 Efco, to me the best Efco made all things considered. The other is the old Oleo-Mac 980.

The 152 has good torgue but speed is down.
The 980 I want to get to drop 1.3 seconds off its cut time in 8x8.

I will be open to any suggestions as I go along.

Going through town the other day and seen a small repair shop was a efco dealer.  Had a tree type display out front with saw bars stuck in to show off the powerheads.
